We wanted to get rid our old above ground pool, approximately 30 ft by 16 ft, and a hot tub. I was so amazed at how efficient Desmond Pools & Spas were in doing the demolition. A fair amount of garbage was thrown out, but they left the area neat. They know exactly what they’re doing. The demolition was quickly but carefully done. The process of selecting a pool provider is quite time-consuming, and if you're like us, you'll call several businesses in the hopes of selecting the best installer. After all, you're spending thousands of dollars on something that the entire family will enjoy. I didn't need to search any further after reading reviews and examining several installers. Desmond Pools came strongly recommended. They advertise, “We’re all about giving you exactly what you need and fulfilling your vision of a true backyard paradise.” THIS IS NOT A LIE! “Their customer service is second to none.” They sell quality pools. Glen sat with us going over everything, and I have to say this pool/spa is outstanding, enjoyable, and beautiful… exceeding my expectations. I was completely impressed with their professionalism, customer service, and incredible enthusiasm, especially Glen. Every time we had questions, they didn’t make us wait for answers and made us feel like a priority! If they say concrete is on a certain day or the fence will be installed tomorrow, they are 100% on time. “Efficiency and punctuality are hallmarks of their service.” And I want to add they worked very hard. They didn’t stop. You’re not going to see them constantly on the phone or taking breaks. We were interested in adding a pool. We researched different options and interviewed 2 companies, both that install fiberglass pools. We went with Desmond Pool and Spa. Glenn sealed the deal for us. He was responsive, took our calls, and answered all our questions. Our timeline was deposited in November for an April install to be ready for Memorial weekend. Glenn said they were fast, and they weren't kidding. We know PA is rocky, so deciding on a Swim USA pool that could go fully in ground or half in ground if we hit rock gave us options. Luckily, we hit a very small area of rock so fully in ground it went. Within two days the pool was in and filled with water! Glenn came to our home for site visits more than once over the winter to answer our layout questions and concerns. He was also on site the entire time. We angled the pool to align with the lake. They left the yard very nice, graded, and cleaned up. Glenn also has come back 2x to assist with the filter and vacuum questions. Glenn is also super helpful texting with us as we are new to a saltwater pool. What an easy, seamless experience. We would highly recommend Desmond Pools. (Pavers were done by homeowners.) Gonna be a great summer.

We are so happy with the process and results of our new pool! The owner, Scott, was helpful and informative from the start, which gave me the confidence that they know what they are doing. Glenn, the project manager, was always open and honest with his communication. I asked a lot of questions, and he never made me feel like a burden. I continue to ask questions, and Glenn has made it known he is always available and happy to help me moving forward, which is so huge when you are a first-time pool owner. The team they brought was always considerate and helpful. I was impressed with how hard and quickly they worked. We had a new pool and patio in under three weeks!! Glenn gave me a detailed tutorial before he left on how to troubleshoot and to take care of the pool. Overall, we are very happy and hopeful that all will go well moving forward. When we went looking to have our pool installed, Desmond Pools & Spas was the first company that we felt was honest and upfront about pricing and timing. We would highly recommend Desmond's Pools and Spas. We've been working hand in hand with the gentlemen for over a year now. From the start and amidst COVID challenges and delays, we were never left in the dark. Josh is very knowledgeable and never pushes a product choice but instead informs you on pros and cons. Josh also allowed us to visit past Desmond installs so that we could see their work and product choices first hand before committing. During the install, the gentlemen worked diligently and professionally. They worked with us as we made a last minute change to electronically program the pool features. The pool has been installed for over 2 months now and if I have a question, Josh still quickly replies and helps me solve the problem! We had a great experience with them.

We only had 3 call us back, and Josh (from Desmond Pools) was the only one that spent time (2 hours) with us going over every last detail and knew what he was talking about. Scott and Josh arrived and began working right away and even worked through the rain to get the job done on time. They leveled our backyard so that when the cement came, it was ready to get started. During a time when COVID started to run crazy and everyone wanted to get pools, Josh always took the time to talk over the phone with us for however long it took. When our township inspector came out during his many inspections, he would repeatedly say that they did an amazing job and he wished that he would have used them to install his pool. I had a small in-ground salt water pool installed when my yard died. It was an unexpected project to take on. But Josh at Desmond helped me determine the options that would work best for me between maintenance and cost. No matter how small or large the project is, Desmond treats you with the same level of importance. I highly recommend Desmond Pools and Spas. We had a fiberglass pool installed last summer by Desmond Pools and Spas. Josh was incredibly knowledgeable about the different pools. We had horrible weather that delayed our project, but Josh and Scott remained in contact updating us, and as soon as we had nice weather they were out and working. They finished the pool in 3 days! Scott did a great job with installation of the pool and the beautiful rock wall. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get our concrete finished in time last fall (NOT any fault of Desmond Pools and Spas, in fact they were assisting us with finding other concrete contractors the entire time), so the pool had to remain open all winter. As soon as spring came, Josh was in touch to set up cleaning. As a new pool owner, I frequently have questions, and Josh could not be more patient or more helpful. Highly, highly recommend!!

We had Scott install an L-shaped pool for us this year (2018). We talked to several builders and decided to go with him based on comfort level and talking to other homeowners he installed pools for in the past. What was supposed to be an easy 2/3 week project turned into an 8/10 week project. The rain seemed to never end this spring and hampered the build from start to finish. We also ran into ground water problems which made finishing the installation extremely difficult. Water was a concern of mine from the beginning and one of the main reasons we decided to go with Scott. I felt if we had issues he would address them and not drag the project on for the entire summer. Scott addressed the water issue by digging a French drain around the pool and into a sump pit. I bought the materials and Scott dug the trench and installed at no cost. Overall happy with the job and would recommend him.
