SwimUSA In-Ground Spa Configurations
Spas can be built as an addition to your pool or as stand-alone units. They can sit flush with your pool or be elevated so water spills over into the pool. Models with a built-in spillover use common water with the pool; non-spillover models can use either common water or separate water, which lets you heat the spa to a different temperature than the pool. All SwimUSA in-ground fiberglass spas feature built-in bench seating designed to accept spa jets, so hydrotherapy is part of the package, no matter which model you choose.

The SwimUSA lineup covers four shapes: rectangle, octagon, kidney, and round. Spillover variants are available in three of those shapes, giving you the option to connect your spa to the pool for a seamless overflow effect or keep the water systems separate for independent temperature control.

Full-Service Support After Installation
Buying an in-ground spa through Desmond Pools & Spas means you have a local service partner from day one, not just a point of sale. Our team handles pool and hot tub openings and closings, vinyl liner replacement, pool covers, and general repair and maintenance year-round. Select purchases include on-site water testing, and we offer free filter upgrades and solar covers on qualifying orders.
On the equipment side, we carry the Totally Hayward System: an integrated line of pumps, filters, heaters, heat pumps, automatic cleaners, lighting, and controls engineered to work together as one system. We also stock Unicel filter replacement cartridges and run ProTeam vacuums on maintenance calls. Most products and accessories we carry come with extensive warranties from the brands we stock, and we keep in stock liners, solar covers, safety covers, chemicals, pumps, and filters.
Fiberglass Gelcoat Colors
SwimUSA fiberglass spa shells use a gelcoat finish that’s smooth, non-abrasive, and non-porous. That surface resists algae and won’t need the periodic refinishing that plaster or concrete surfaces require. Color also influences how the water looks and how the spa ties in with your pool deck and landscaping. Twelve colors are available:
