Pool Closing Service
Pennsylvania winters are hard on pool equipment. Freezing temperatures can crack pipes, damage pump housings, and split filter tanks if water is left in the system. A proper closing protects your investment before the cold sets in.
- Installation of winter cover and all winter plugs
- Removal of diving board, ladders, and rails
- Winterization of pump, filters, and heater (covers up to two pumps and filters)
- Draining water from the system
- Water level in the pool must be drained below the skimmer, unless an aquador or gizmo is used on the skimmer for winterizing
Please note that covers and winterizing plugs have a limited lifetime and must be replaced when needed. If your plugs need to be replaced, we’ll provide new ones and adjust your invoice accordingly.
Pool Opening Service
Our pool opening service includes:
- Removal of folding cover
- Cleaning folding cover without products
- Removal of all winter plugs and reinstallation of filters and heater (up to two pumps and two filters)
- Priming, start-up, and bleeding air from the system
- Installation of all diving boards, handrails, and ladders (if in safe condition to be used)
- Cleaning the DE filter
- Shock and algaecide treatment
If it’s raining on the day of the pool opening, we can still clean all covers, whether you have cover service or regular service, but covers may need to be left outside for a day or so afterward to dry, since they won’t dry completely in the rain.
If additional parts or services are required, you’ll be advised and invoiced separately for those items after the work is completed.
