SwimUSA Tanning Ledge Models from Desmond Pools & Spas
SwimUSA builds 11 fiberglass spa and tanning ledge models across a range of shapes, including round, rectangle, and curved designs. We carry three of their most popular configurations: the Erie, the Tampa, and the Berkeley Springs. Each one can pair with a SwimUSA pool or serve as a standalone water feature, giving you flexibility in how the finished project takes shape.
Erie Spillover Tanning Ledge
The Erie is a spillover model with dual cascading spillovers that feed into the main pool for a seamless overflow effect. Inside dimensions are 9'2" wide by 9'4" long with a flat 1-foot bottom throughout. Its compact footprint works with any SwimUSA pool model or as an independent feature. The shallow depth makes it a natural spot for water-friendly patio furniture and extended lounging.
Tampa Tanning Ledge
The Tampa has a naturally shaped design at 9'2" wide by 17'9" long, also 1 foot deep, built to blend into surrounding landscaping. It can work as a sunbathing area, a children's splash space, or a place for pets to cool off. A bubbler is optional, and the Tampa functions as a standalone feature or in combination with a SwimUSA pool, with or without connecting water.
Berkeley Springs Spa & Tanning Ledge
The Berkeley Springs combines a spa and a tanning ledge in one rectangular unit, 7 feet wide by 15 feet long, graduating from a 1-foot shallow end to 3'3" deep. Built-in bench seating can be configured with up to 8 spa jets for hydrotherapy. It works as a standalone patio unit or paired with another SwimUSA pool model, and the dual-function design suits households that want both a relaxation area and a sun shelf in one footprint.
Thursday Pools Wet Decks
The Thursday Pools wet deck is a purpose-built fiberglass shallow water feature with outside dimensions of 14' x 8' and inside dimensions of 13' x 7'. It holds approximately 270 gallons at a constant 12-inch depth across the entire surface. That uniform depth means there's no transition into a deeper zone, which makes it a consistent lounging and splash area from edge to edge.
Standard features include a non-skid surface throughout. An optional dual spillway creates cascading water flow from the Wet Deck into the main pool, adding both visual movement and the sound of running water to the surrounding space. The raised deck application ties the Wet Deck into adjacent hardscape at a higher elevation, creating a multi-dimensional look that integrates naturally with decking and landscaping. The Wet Deck pairs with most Thursday Pools fiberglass pool models or stands alone as a patio water feature.
