The Hayward OmniLogic is built for fully featured new pool and spa builds that need modular, expandable automation. It supports up to 20 relays and controls up to 16 variable-speed pumps without using a single relay. OmniLogic pairs with ColorLogic LED lighting via OmniDirect Mode for color, dimming, and show control, and integrates with Amazon Alexa for voice control. The Hayward OmniHub is an accessible entry point for smart pool control. It’s designed for smaller equipment pads, retrofit applications on nearly any existing pool, and builds where a 1-to-3 relay range covers everything you need. OmniHub controls variable-speed pumps, heaters, pool and spa lighting, and AquaRite salt chlorination, and it works with Hayward equipment as well as most other pool equipment brands already on your pad. AquaRite bundles combine OmniLogic or OmniHub smart control with TurboCell salt chlorination so you can manage sanitation alongside pump scheduling, heating, and lighting from one app. TurboCell capacity (25,000-gallon or 40,000-gallon) should match your pool’s volume. Labor & Installation Rates
When you purchase automation equipment through Desmond Pools & Spas as part of a new pool installation, the hourly labor rate is waived entirely. That’s a straightforward advantage of buying and building through one team. Installation of products supplied and purchased from Desmond Pools & Spas after a new pool installation or as service replacement parts is charged at product price plus $60 per hour. Installation of products not supplied by Desmond Pools & Spas is charged at $120 per hour.
Pool Electrical
Desmond Pools & Spas doesn’t perform or subcontract electrical work. Electrical is priced and paid directly to the electrical contractor.
Standard electrical pricing (without any obstacles):
- First 50 feet: $2,500.00
- Every 25 feet after: $250.00
All prices listed are estimates, not exact prices. Electrical work may be covered for 1 year from installation through the electrical contractor. All parts and products used by the electrical contractor are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Pool Engineer
In many cases, only a licensed or registered engineer has the authority to take legal responsibility for engineering work or projects. Regulations may require that only a licensed or registered engineer can sign, seal, or stamp technical documentation, such as reports, plans, engineering drawings, and calculations, or carry out design, analysis, repair, servicing, maintenance, or supervision of engineering work, processes, or projects. Pool Permits & Inspections
All permits are submitted by the owner, and inspections are coordinated by the contractor.
Pool Plumbing
Desmond Pools & Spas offers a 1-year warranty on all plumbing installed by Desmond Pools & Spas.
Pool Landscaping
Standard landscaping pricing:
- Rake and Seeding: $1,500
- Retaining Walls: Cost based on height, length, and material. Estimated at $4,000 for a 30 ft. wall, 2 ft. high
